Youth Theatre

Do you want them to learn confidence building techniques and meet new people? Then come along and join the extremely popular Swan Youth Theatre!

All groups work on building leadership and performance skills as well as a wide variety of drama techniques. Classes are held during term time on the following days, please book early to secure a place.

There are a number of free places available for those parents/carers who are on a low income. (Please note Worcester Live reserves the right to withdraw a class if it is under subscribed).

Dance Classes

At Worcester Live we are committed to providing as many types of entertainment and education within the community as possible. Below is a list of all the Dance Classes we are currently running at The Swan Theatre Studio.

Parents and Wobblers

The class aims to create a friendly atmosphere to encourage children’s confidence through movement. Activities include shaking, jumping, hopping and clapping with stories and singing thrown in for added fun! A fantastic way for your children to bond with others.
Thursdays 9:30am – 10:15am, £3.50 per session

Tap Attack

Ever wanted to try one of the most popular dance forms on the planet, but just been too afraid you’ll get it wrong? Come along and join our fun filled class where you learn toe tapping moves to increase your rhythm, fitness and tap technique. All ages and abilities welcome to come along and “shuffle your feet to the beat!”
Thursdays at 10:30am – 11:30am, £4.50 per session

Chance to Dance

If you’ve never tried dance before your first lesson can be a very daunting one. The Swan Theatre provides a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all adults. The class provides the opportunity to increase fitness, improve co-ordination and sustain mobility. We use a variety of dance styles as influence for our creative routines whether it be Sizzling Salsa, Beautiful Bollywood or All That Jazz.
Thursdays 11:30am - 12.30pm, £4.50 per session

All of our dance classes are run by professional dance teacher Kerry Millis, and by joining one of these classes, you are entitled to other benefits within Worcester Live including;

• One free ticket to all Contemporary Dance events staged by Worcester Live at the Swan Theatre.
• 10% off tickets for any other event staged by Worcester Live at the Swan Theatre.
• Notification of ticket deals offered for events at the Swan Theatre and Huntingdon Hall.
